Before you fall asleep, in addition to a soft lullaby that runs in the family and been adjusted just for you, I tell you these words, sometimes in a whisper, sometimes loud and clear, words I hope will stuck with you and never disappear

Behind the song:
Well, what can I honestly say about this song thats not already inside it?
This song is about this sleeping ritual I made with my son, in addition to a lullaby that runs in the family I wanted something to be my own, to be our own and then this words, combined with cheeks petting were created.
When I wrote this song, those words, little did I know that October 7th is about to happen. Suddenly those words like ” a Mad Men will start to fire a gun, father will teach you how to run”… “I will teach you how to hide” felt like an awful prophecy, like a nightmare, some things you can’t even imagine happen even if I wrote down descriptions of bad situations.
In this night, that was the first time ever since my son was born that I couldn’t brought myself to tell him those words. he might be loved but how can I tell him he is safe and protected? It’s been more than a month till I started to practice this sleeping ritual again.
No matter where you live, no matter where you are, life can be ended in a moment, can change in a second, can be erased and never returned so no matter where you are, no matter where you live, no matter how old you are and what’s your gender, appreciate life as you know it and remind yourself that in this short present moment, You are safe you are protected you are loved, there are no guarantees to when this current state will change.
