This page is dedicated to a number of songs I can no longer wait to write.
The reason I haven’t wrote them yet is because I want and it’s truly important to me that the performers will have a connection to the songs, they wouldn’t “just” perform it, they will be part of the song.
It all started from the fact that I wanted (still do) to connect between 2 major talented women who called pink and Rita. Both of them have huge talent, magnificent voice and a fascinating personality. It’s a combination that on the one hand is very strange and unexpected and on the other hand is brilliant (if I may pat myself on the back) and very suitable.
Since I wanted to write a song they both would feel connected to, I began the research and in one of Pink’s interviews i’ve heard her say the phrase ” why can’t we ride till the wheels fall off” that’s inspired me to write them a song Inspired by this quote (later in time I understood it’s a known phrase in English).
while I was writing the song I thought about combining their past and what is similar and different between them and the next line came out: ” we are so different that only playing a computer game could have brought us together” . The more I kept on going in the song writing the more I realized it doesn’t fit PINK and RITA and the song that I currently have is actually dedicated to Harry Styles and Mergi.
You think that the writing journey is over? no, no! that lead me to think of another idea which is to open a page called: “Bucket list” a page where I write to the artists that I want to write a song to of how I ask them to connect each other and what to do in order for me to write this song. let’s start:
Rita and Pink:
As I wrote above, I simply have to make this wonderful connection between you and write a song for you.
I thought of creative ways to connect you and create a certain dialogue between you, but “less is more”. I don’t want to outline any path or condition for you.
Create a video of up to 30:00 minutes and just talk, simply, talk, you decide what about. It’s important not to exceed the 30-minute video, good Insights come out of a (relatively) short time frame.
Bonus: the video will bring you additional income from your YouTube channels.
Harry Styles and Margie:
From the beginning I knew I wanted to connect these two talents. They just fit together so well. I didn’t know what the song I would write for them would be about, and then the idea of the computer game came to me (see above).
The idea is this: find a computer game that you both want to play, put on your headphones, turn on your cameras, warm up your engines, press record and start playing while talking to each other (with video). The recording won’t exceed 30 minutes (this doesn’t mean you have to stop playing after 30 minutes, just saying…).
Bonus:
1 – The song can be a promo for a new video game or for a game company that you’ll sign a deal with to promote existing games.
2- The filmed material will be in the music video and the characters in the music video for the song will be the characters from the game (yes, we’ll close out the whole collaboration and copyright thing before we start this journey)
Taylor Swift and Noa Kirel – Cluedopoly
For me, this is song is the cherry on top and that’s for several reasons:
1- It’s Noa Kirel and Taylor Swift, it’s an endless talent.
2- It’s two huge games brands – Monopoly and Cluedo.
3- The video clip is so ready in my mind, just get the song into action and “that’s it”. The video will be a combination of sketching and animation, Monopoly in style X, Cluedo in style Y and when Noa and Taylor sing together it will be a combination of styles.
4- One will represent Monopoly and the other will represent Cluedo (don’t let anyone know that even I don’t know who is who, it’s their decision)
5- In my mind, the idea is that the song is a combination of a businesswoman and a murder mystery, each side has a part in the story and Noa and Taylor tell their side of the story (the idea started with the fact that Taylor’s songs are actually a story, a whole world and not “just” a song).
6- All I ask is that you play the online game version (yes, I’m talking to you Taylor and Noa) of Monopoly and play it for half an hour while you record yourself talking (about any topic) and the same goes for the Cluedo game.
Bonus: Do I really need to elaborate on this?
The last request on my bucket list (as of now) is probably the most problematic.
I really want to write a song about “the game.” I mean any sports game, be it soccer, basketball, judo, tennis, etc. The love of the game is something that unites us all and I would really like to hear from many athletes in many fields what they feel (emphasis on feel, not think) about the game and write a song about this burning love.
The idea is that it will be a song with many participants, like Michael Jackson’s “Heal the World”. The song will be sung by the athletes themselves and if possible I also want to bring them together in a music video to sing with their fans.
The song will not only be sung in English, if the athletes choose, they can sing in their native language (except for the chorus which is in English), that way the athletes will truly be an integral part of it.
Apart from the logistical issue (God!) there is the “small” issue of which of the athletes will perform the song, there are so many talented athletes and leaders in their fields, how do you / I even choose them for such a project? In addition, I really don’t understand in so many sports fields in order to recommend certain athletes at all and here I need the audience’s help, I don’t choose who will be a part in the song, you (and the potential performers of course) choose who will be a part in this song. On the other hand, who I am kidding? Simone Biles and Lionel Messi, let it be clear that you are part of this song!
